A day of reflection on the valorization of mineral wealth in Mauritania

Today, May 21, 2022, the Director General of the National Agency for Geological Research and Mineral Properties supervised the opening of the Reflection Day on the valorization of mineral wealth in Mauritania, which is organized by the Maghreb Center for Strategic Studies in partnership with the Agency.

 

A group of experts from the mineral sector in Mauritania participated in the work of this intellectual forum, where several presentations were made on the geological and mineral capabilities in Mauritania, as well as the legal, regulatory and fiscal framework, and on the stakes and prospects of this important sector. These presentations were accompanied by meaningful and constructive discussions.
