1. Geological exploration:

This module is intended to junior geologists freshly engaged in geological exploration work.

• Objective: to introduce geologists to the geological exploration methods used in the Mauritanian context.

• Content: principles of geochemistry, soil, rock, sediment sampling methods, structural measurements, geological mapping.

• Duration: 3 to 4 weeks

2. Geological modeling :

This advanced training module is intended to geologists with some experience in geological drilling work and wishing to develop their skills in the interpretation of drilling data.

• Objective: To initiate geologists on the methods of drilling data interpretation for the development of 3D models of the geological or geochemical data of the drilling yielding volume calculation
• Content: Development of borehole section diagrams, interpretation of borehole sections, correlation, creation of envelopes, geostatistics, model development.

• Duration: 2 to 3 weeks

3. Geomatics :

This module is intended to exploration geologists specializing in data collection, processing and analysis.

• Objective: to ensure proficiency of data management tools and geographic information systems tools.
• Content: Initiation to geological data management, Creation of databases, Data quality control, Initiation to GIS: collection of cartographic data, production of geological maps, Initiation to GIS / SGBD software: Arcgis, Mapinfo, QGIS, SQL .
• Duration: 3 to 4 weeks

4. 4. Laboratory

In the laboratory field, ANARPAM offers training in the following modules:

• General requirements for of ISO 17025: 2017 testing and calibration laboratories’ skills
• ISO 19011: 2018 internal auditor qualification training
• Training on method validation according to standard NF T90: 2018
• Training on the quality management system-ISO 9001: 2015 requirements

• Advanced training on preparation and analysis by atomic absorption spectrometry
• Leak training and X-ray fluorescence analysis
• Training on mechanical preparation and its quality control
