ANARPAM took up former Mauritanian Geological Research Office (OMRG), established in 1980 and took part of the Mauritanian Hydrocarbons and Mining Heritage Company (SMHPM) to take over Stakeholders’ Agreements with mining promoters, together with corporate regulations, applicable to mining license holders in relation to Government shares in mining companies, (re. Decree n ° 2020-064 of MAY 28, 2020).
