In the context of promoting the mineral resources of Mauritania, the National Agency for Geological Research and Mineral Properties participated in the 2022 edition of the annual Indaba World Conference on Mineral Investment in Africa, which was hosted by Cape Town in South Africa from May 9 to 12, 2022.
This participation has enabled the promotion of exchanges with actors in the mineral field on several topics, including the promotion of mineral resources in Mauritania, as well as investment opportunities with the National Agency for Geological Research and Mineral Properties.
The revitalization of the Mauritanian pavilion was supervised by a delegation from the Ministry of Petroleum, Minerals and Energy, represented by the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Mr. Ahmed Salem Bouhda, the advisor in charge of communication, the General Director of Minerals, as well as the acting director of mineral property promotion.
The Mauritanian pavilion witnessed a great turnout, as he was honored by the visit of His Excellency the Mauritanian Ambassador to South Africa, Mr. Jar Inla, as well as the Ghanaian Minister of Minerals, who noted the importance of Mauritania's mineral capabilities. He also called for the establishment of a platform for exchange between African countries.
