On Saturday, July 16, 2022, the Director of the National Agency for Geological Research and Mineral Properties, Mr. El Hachemi Ould Cheikh Sedati, made a briefing visit to the exploitation licenses No. C2 2018 and C2 2019 of the North Inshiri Extraction Company LLC (a subsidiary of Kinross Gold Corporation).
The visit comes within the framework of the partnership between the agency and the North Inshiri Extraction Company. It also aims to follow up on the preparations for the launch of a 36-month exploration program.
During the visit, the General Manager, accompanied by the General Manager of the North Anshiri Extraction Company, reviewed the progress of the project in the field and discussed ways to streamline the work and provide the best conditions to continue making the desired progress. The Director General was accompanied during this visit by a team from the Agency, including Mr. Ibrahima Ba Madine, Director of Marketing and Mineral Properties, and Mr. Sidnaali Ould Moulay Ismail, Head of the Minerals Authority.
