The launch of the second phase of the completion of mineral maps in the northwest of the country

This morning, January 22, 2022, the Director General of the National Agency for Research and Mineral Properties supervised the launch of the second phase of the project to complete the mineral map for gold, within the framework of the agreement concluded between the Agency and the Mauritanian Minerals Company.

In this context, several missions of geologists, cartographers and technicians specialized in mineral exploration were sent to the Tazizt and Tajirit region in the northwest of the country.
