The launch of the third phase of the mineral map project for the exploration corridors in Mauritania.

Within the framework of the mineral map project for surface prospecting corridors for gold, the Director-General of the National Agency for Geological Research and Mineral Properties this morning, March 1, 2022, supervised the launch of the third phase of field surveys in the areas of Saffariat, Kleib Andor and Shakat in the state of Tres Zemmour.

This project, which began in 2021 within the framework of a partnership contract between the Agency and the Mauritanian Minerals Company, aims to develop mineral resources in the surface exploration corridors in Mauritania.

This stage constitutes the last part of the field survey of maps, for which the agency mobilized several teams of specialized geologists and technicians in the field of exploration.
