COLLABORATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN SENISA AND ANARPAM

Nouakchott April 14, 2022 – As a reminder, the signing of this agreement follows the provisions of the extension decrees authorizing SENISA to undertake new exploration activities on its 2018 C2 and 2019 C2 permits, in close collaboration with the 'ANARPAM.

 

This collaboration agreement was signed between ANARPAM and the SENISA Company (Société d´Extraction du Nord de l´Inchiri S.A (subsidiary of Kinross Gold Corporation), which holds gold mining permits in the Inchiri region. The said agreement is for a period of 36 months (duration of the extension fixed by the Government) and consists of the secondment of personnel by ANARPAM to SENISA throughout the extension period.

 

In return, SENISA will provide training in technical expertise that will contribute to building the capacity of ANARPAM staff through numerous training opportunities in fields as varied as geophysics, geology and geomatics.

 

For the implementation of this Agreement, it has been agreed that a joint technical committee will immediately be entrusted with such missions.
