Within the framework of implementing the strategy of developing and improving mineral properties, the Director General of the National Agency for Geological Research and Mineral Properties, Mr. El Hachemi Ould Cheikh Sidaty, paid a working visit to the Guinean Company for Mineral Properties in the sister Republic of Guinea Conakry, at the invitation of Mr. Boubacar Traore, Director General of the Guinean Company. This visit focused on exchanging experiences between the two institutions in the field of managing and promoting mineral properties. The visit culminated in the signing of a partnership agreement between the two institutions aimed at exchanging experiences and cooperating in the fields of mineral research and managing mineral properties.
On the other hand, the Director General of the Agency held, within the framework of this visit, several technical meetings at the level of the Ministry of Minerals and Geology, the Bauxite Mineral Company, as well as the Mine Promotion and Development Center and the National Geological Laboratory.
At the end of this visit, a memorandum of understanding for partnership and scientific exchange was signed between ANARPAM and SOGUIPAMI.
In addition and on the sidelines of the mission, the Director General of ANARPAM held several technical meetings at the level of the Ministry of Mines and Geology, the Bauxite Mining Company of Boké (SMB), the Promotion Center and the Mining Development (CPMD) and the National Geology Laboratory as well as the site visit at the Société Minière de Boké SMB.
The Director General of the Agency was accompanied during this visit by Mr. Ibrahim Ba Madin, Director of Mineral Resources Promotion at the National Agency for Geological Research and Mineral Properties.
