Field visit of the Director General of the National Agency for Geological Research and Mineral Property of the teams supervising the gold mineral appreciation map

As part of the gold panning corridor mapping project, subject of the service contract between the National Agency for Geological Research and Mining Heritage (ANARPAM) and the Maaden Mauritania Company, the General Manager of ANARPAM and his technical staff carried out a field mission in the Maghta Lahjar area from December 22 to 23, 2021.

This visit is aimed at:

- Assessment of work progress level

- Discuss with the teams the methodology used (performance and shortcomings).

- Seeing the obstacles facing the work teams

In this context, the delegation heard a detailed art presentation by the Project Supervisor on methodology and workflow as well as challenges proposed. The agency's director general has given critical recommendations to turn over these difficulties.

To this end, the Director General gave instructions to overcome the various technical and logistical problems encountered.

In addition, the Director General of ANARPAM recalled the interest that the Agency attaches to the success of this project which represents a national interest.
